Pancreas Graft Survival

Pancreas graft survival at one year for 1996-08/01/2001 US cadaveric pancreas transplants (n=5740): SPK 84% (kidney graft survival was 92%); PAK 77%; PTA 73%. The differences in pancreas graft survival in the three categories at one year were significant, but overall outcome for PAK and PTA has improved from previous eras (Figure 32). For 1996-08/01/2001 non-US cadaveric pancreas transplants (n=793), pancreas graft survival at one year was 84% (kidney graft survival was 90%); PAK 75% and PTA 49%. PTA results are significantly lower compared to the US PTA rate of 73% (Figure 33).
