Patient Survival

Patient survival rates at one year for 1996-08/01/2001 US cadaveric pancreas transplants (n=5754) were at least 94% in all categories (Figure 30): PTA 98%; SPK 94%; PAK 95%. For non-US 1996-8/01/2000 SPK cadaveric pancreas transplants (n=558), patient survival at one year was 95% (Figure 31).
